Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MortonApps, LLC (“MortonApps,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our corporate website at mortonapps.com (the “Site”). MortonApps is a software company based in California that builds two products: Morton Command Center for managed service providers, and Morton Growth for local businesses.
This policy covers the corporate Site only. Each product is operated on its own domain and has its own privacy terms governing the data processed there. If you are a customer of, or visitor to, one of those products, please refer to the privacy policy published on that product’s own site.
1. Information We Collect
The Site is a marketing site. It has no user accounts, no login, and no payment processing. The only way you provide personal information to us through the Site is by submitting our contact form. When you do, you provide:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The free-text message you type describing how we can help
Our hosting and analytics providers also process a minimal amount of standard technical information automatically when you visit any website, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the timestamp of each request. This is used to operate and secure the Site and to understand aggregate traffic. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking on the Site.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up about your message
- Point you to the product (Morton Command Center or Morton Growth) that fits your needs
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with our legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use it to train artificial intelligence models, run targeted advertising, or build behavioral profiles for any third party.
3. Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses only the cookies and local storage required for basic functionality, plus a privacy-friendly analytics tool. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the Site (for example, which sections people read and where they click) so we can improve it. Clarity is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use this data for advertising. We do not use advertising, social-media, or cross-site tracking cookies on the Site.
4. Subprocessors
We rely on a small number of carefully chosen third-party providers to operate the Site. As of the date of this policy, they are:
| Subprocessor | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Website hosting (Cloudflare Pages), content delivery, edge security, and DNS | Global edge (US-primary) |
| Amazon Web Services, Inc. (Amazon SES) | Delivering contact-form submissions to us by email | United States |
| Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity) | Privacy-friendly website analytics | United States |
We may add or change subprocessors over time. When we do, we will update this list.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
- With our subprocessors, listed above, strictly to operate the Site and deliver your message to us
- With service providers who help us run our business (for example, an attorney or accountant) under confidentiality obligations
- To comply with the law when we receive a valid legal request
- To protect rights and safety of MortonApps, our customers, or the public
- In connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition, with the same protections we provide today
6. Data Retention
We retain contact-form submissions for as long as needed to follow up on your inquiry and to maintain a record of the relationship for legitimate business purposes, generally not more than 24 months from our last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law. Standard server and analytics log data is retained on a rolling basis in accordance with our providers’ defaults.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion — ask us to delete information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions
- Restriction or objection — ask us to limit how we process your information
- Portability — request a copy of your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent as our legal basis
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11 below. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, to access and delete that information, to correct inaccurate information, and to limit our use of sensitive information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. International Data Transfers
MortonApps is based in the United States, and our subprocessors are primarily US-based. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. We rely on appropriate safeguards to protect such transfers where required by law.
9. Security
We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. These include encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and the principle of least privilege. No system is perfectly secure, but if we ever experience a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify affected parties as required by applicable law.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
